The
Scene
Inventive and bold, yet conventionally elegant, this popular
CityWalk restaurant is highlighted by its large, flashy
colors, oversized art prints and shimmering glass. The
exceptional serving staff circles around the multi-floored
dining room like generals over a battlefield, though without
the stuffiness you'd expect. Long lines and remarkable
word-of-mouth makes getting a seat difficult. Big fan?
Emeril makes monthly appearances.
The
Food
Start with the Maine lobster cheesecake, an innovative
blend of the well-known dessert with hunks of lobster
in a lobster saffron emulsion, or the crab meat strudel,
served with hearts of palm and sweet corn remoulade. For
your entree, don't miss the grilled veal chop, a 14-ounce
slab of juicy meat consistently cooked to perfection and
served with cheese grits, Capocollo ham, and mushrooms.
The chocolate souffle or the creme brulee will surely
satisfy your dessert cravings.
